Advanced Sails in the marina of Old Southeast St Petersburg has been repairing the stitching and fabrics of kites since 1999. Keith, the owner, has worked with Watersports West since kites first came to the Tampa Bay area. He understands how the stitching must be at any part of the kite to keep its shape and provide support for long lasting durability. His dedicated shop includes multiple sewing machines and array of multi colored fabrics.
Quality Stitching
Keith knows and understands stitching better than most. There are a ton of small but critical details in putting together a kite that can easily be overlooked. The difference with Keith is that he knows what type of stitching to do and when to backtrack. He’ll spend the necessary time taking apart the leading edge to fix it properly than take short cuts to fix it fast.
Dedicated Shop
Advanced Sails is a dedicated shop for sail repair, including the necessary space to work and materials to fix any problem. Keith has the tools to not only fix a kite in a timely manor, but to match up fabrics and colors. His shop is easy to find and convienently located just south of Downtown St Petersburg.
Professional Experience
When you bring your kite in for a repair at Advanced Sails, Keith will spend the time with you to explain what he needs to do to fix it right and how much it will cost. He is at the shop from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
