What is kiteboarding?
Kiteboarding, also known as kitesurfing, is a watersport that combines windsurfing, surfing and wakeboarding into one extreme sport. Learning how to kiteboard requires multiple skills, but the single most important skill is flying the kite. People of all ages can kiteboard and it is not strenuous on the body. Once you understand and can control the kite, kiteboarding will open the door to many fun experiences on the water.
Why take Lessons?
You can be the best, most extreme athlete but that doesn’t mean you can pick up a kite and go. Flying the kite is counterintuitive to everything your reactions tell you to do. Our instructors are pro riders and are IKO certified, which better enables them to teach students more effectively. Our mission is to create safe and independent kiteboarders who have the skills and knowledge to be positive ambassadors of the sport. We promise that you will learn quicker through one of our certified instructors.
Who can kiteboard?
Anybody can learn how to kiteboard! There’s men and women in their 70’s and 80’s who have learned how to kiteboard. The kite is connected to a harness that is strapped to your body and absorbs all the energy. You can ride for hours and hours and not feel exhausted! Kiteboarding is a sport that requires finesse, not strength; the easier you work, the easier kiteboarding is.

Kiteboarding is an extreme sport that requires you to be mentally focused, is a great workout and provides stress relief. It gives you the ability to escape onto the water where you can enjoy the ride. Kites fit into a small bag making it very easy to travel with. It’s easy to pop on to a plane and cruise over to the Caribbean or anywhere in the world. You can explore new places and bond with people of different cultures who share the same passion towards kiteboarding.
