With Tropical Storm Nate building fast out in the Gulf of Mexico, we can expect to get even more wind in Tampa Bay this weekend. The wind will predominately be out of the southeast and we’ll have to watch out for rain bands throughout the day. Tides are extra high this weekend and will definitely factor in to your session. Best time will be at low tide.
Saturday – Southeast winds 16 – 20 kts. High tide for St Petersburg is at 4:19 pm and low tide will be at 9:26 am. Keep an eye on the radar for storms!
Sunday – Southeast wind 15 – 20 kts in the morning shifting to the south in the early afternoon. Winds will fade out later in the day and shift to the southwest in the late afternoon. High tide for St Petersburg on Sunday is at 5:16 pm and low tide will be at 10:36 am.
