Another great weekend for wind here in St Petersburg. A cold front pushed through early Friday morning bringing cooler air and lots of wind. The cooler nights ahead will help drop the water temperature causing a nice sea breeze affect in the afternoons. Northwest winds will be the predominant wind direction for the next few days.

Friday – West winds at 20 – 25 mph all day.
Saturday – Winds will shift from the west to the northwest and will be around 15 – 20 mph in the morning. With the sea breeze affect in place, winds will be more consistent in the afternoon and will be approximately 20 mph.
Sunday – Light winds in the morning. Potential for a sea breeze in the afternoon with northwest winds at 15 – 20 mph.
