Yesterday, May 24th, it blew an honest 30 to 40 mph at the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. It was so windy that St Petersburg had to shut down the bridge for a few hours. Anything above 25 mph is too windy for kiteboarding lessons and can be unsafe. For experienced riders 25 mph and above is perfect boosting conditions.
