2022 Cabrinha FX2 from a 4 line to a 6 line Setup
The 2022 Cabrinha FX2 can be converted from a 4 line to a 6 line setup. This article will breakdown how to convert the 2022 Cabrinha FX2 from a 4 line to a 6 line setup. We will cover three topics.

4 Line Bridle
The center lines bridle has 8 lines on each side that connect to a single pigtail between “B” and “C”. Each line is marked starting at “1”. From the connection point closest to the center of the kite starts with the line marked “1”, then “2” and so on until “5”. “1” and “2” are connected through another line labeled “A”. Refer to the image below for the full diagram.
To take the bridle off, start with lines “B” and “C”. Keep all the lines together in an organized way. We bagged each side’s lines separately in case we want to rig the 2022 Cabrinha FX2 with the four line setup.
6 Line Bridle
There are three lines and two pigtails for each side of the kite’s center lines. Line “1” has one pigtail. Lines “2” and “3” are connected by another pigtail. There are five attachment points for the center line’s bridle on the kite. See the image below for the exact placement of the lines on the kite. The steering line’s bridle is different than the 4 line setup.
Control Bar Setup
We recommend purchasing Cabrinha’s latest control bar with adjustable line lengths. The standard length on the new control bar is 22m. The center lines have an adjustment feature at 18m. To get 22m are 4m line extensions on the center lines. With the new control bar are four 2m line extensions. These four 2m line extensions will be necessary for making the 6 line setup. Attach two of the 2m line extensions together to create one 4m line. Add a pigtail to the end of the new 4m line. The new control bar does not come with additional pigtails.
Attach the two 4m lines to the 18m line. There should be a total of six endpoints. Make sure that all the lines are equal in length. Tune the control bar by walking the lines out. Attach the six endpoints to a fixed point. All six lines should be equal in length. Check out our blog post on how to tune your control bar.
