Kiteboarding Adventures at the Skyway Bridge

It was a cold (high of 50 degrees) and gusty day. Winds were 15 – 34 mph. On the west side of Skyway Bridge theres an island a mile and a half to the northwest. Sometimes this island blocks the wind after a cold front comes through. Theres two major channels that separate the island from the Skyway flat water. One channel runs north to south, the other runs east to west. Once you get across both channels and are by the island, there’s shallow flat water for miles. Its a fun place to explore and experience!
