Light winds are in the forecast for this weekend. There is always a chance for an afternoon sea breeze. How strong and when the sea breeze will occur varies day to day. Another variable to watch out for is an afternoon thunderstorm. The thunderstorm will kill the sea breeze and create strong gusty winds (that you DO NOT want to kiteboard in).
Small Potential For Wind
Keep an eye on the forecast for Monday morning. There might be a decent easterly wind in the early morning hours. Two forecasts we rely upon are iKitesurf’s 2km model and Baynews 9’s marine forecast.
Into The Week
We don’t fully trust the wind forecast more than five days out but Tuesday to Thursday mornings look to have good potential for easterly winds. We are keeping our fingers crossed and doing a little wind dance for some wind!
