This weekend is shaping up to have some wind! There are a lot of tropical disturbances in close proximity that could bring us some good wind! Things to watch out for are rain and thunderstorms. These storms could bring strong gusty winds or kill the wind. Before going out, it’s a good idea to check out the radar.
Friday
East winds, 10-15kts from sunrise until 10/11am. Winds will drop down late morning.
Saturday
Stronger and longer lasting wind on Saturday. East winds 12-18 kts. Winds may begin to drop around 1pm and resume later in the day. Watch out for storms that can pop up.
Sunday
Sunday has potential to see even better winds. East wind at 15-20 kts during the morning hours. 10-15 kts in the early afternoon hours. East winds could increase closer to sunset.
