Baynews 9 is showing breezy conditions for Sunday but is the cold front going to make it in time? The reason for the wind is from a sharp cold front that will bring much cooler temperatures to Tampa Bay Sunday night. The exact time the front is going to push through is still unclear.
Saturday – Light east winds in the morning 9 – 13 mph dropping off early in the morning. Maybe a light sea breeze in the afternoon but more humid air will make it difficult for a sea breeze to form.
Sunday – 10 – 14 mph winds out of the WSW before the cold front. Be aware that when the front pushes through winds will substantially increase. The front will come from the north so look for signs like a line of clouds coming in or white caps on the water.
