There’s going to be plenty of wind this weekend here in St Petersburg, but make sure you get out at the right time to catch it!
Friday: Expect 14-18mph of wind out of the NE from sunrise to about 10am. Late in the afternoon will be a seabreeze of about 16mph. The seabreeze will happen later in the afternoon in the gulf along St Pete Beach and Fort Desoto North Beach but may not make its way to the Skyway until right before sunset.
Saturday: Saturday morning will be warmer than Friday morning so as a result there will be more east in the wind. Saturday will be 15-20mph out of the ENE and will begin to lighten up around 10am. There should still be 10-15mph of wind out of the ENE late morning through early afternoon. Later in the afternoon the ENE wind will begin to pick up as the sun sets.
Sunday: Winds will be lighter on Sunday blowing 12-16mph out of the E and lasting until about 10am. Winds will be light Sunday afternoon.
