2018 was a fantastic year for kiteboarding in the St Petersburg area. Last spring was filled with consistent winds and warm temperatures. We worked with many students that became good friends and awesome kiteboarders. Here’s a look at some of the memories
Highlights
Hurricanes & Strong Cold Fronts
We didn’t have any hurricanes to directly impact us but we did get the outskirts of a few like Hurricane Michael that brought strong and consistent winds to the Tampa Bay area. Some of the cold fronts came through with a vengeance, delivering 35-45 kt winds. As much fun as it is to jump massive during these winds, it’s too much to teach in. We prefer 15 – 20 kts.
Teaching Kiteboarding
Teaching kiteboarding truly is our passion. We love sharing the stoke with everyone and getting people hooked onto kiteboarding. This year we worked with many awesome students from all over the world that became good friends of ours. 2019 we look forward to working with many more students. Travel
Last year we traveled to many cool places like Turks and Caicos, Bahamas, Florida Keys, Jupiter and many more. Our goal for 2019 is to explore new locations around the world. Join us on our next adventure
