There will be a front approaching the Tampa Bay area Sunday and pushing through by Monday morning. Before the front approaches we typically get a southerly wind. The computer models are not predicting much wind for Sunday, however, as the front approaches we could get a south wind. Saturday morning should be similar to the past couple of days with an east wind early in the morning and potential for a sea breeze in the afternoon.
Forecast
Saturday – ESE winds in the morning 12 to 15 mph. Winds becoming light by 9 am. Potential for an afternoon sea breeze 11 – 14 mph out of the SW.
12pm Update:
Sunday – South winds before the front at 14 – 18 mph from mid morning through the afternoon. If the front comes in quicker than forecasted then we may get a NW wind Sunday afternoon.
